Highway Patrol’s Troop F sees 6 traffic fatalities in last 7 days
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop F has seen six traffic fatalities in the last seven days.
Troop F tweeted Friday morning “Please held us #StopTheKnock *Understand something CAN happen. *Expect other drivers to make mistakes. *Scan ahead, around & behind before changing lanes, speed or direction *Always, always buckle up.”
Most recently, three people were killed in a head-on crash Thursday in Audrain County. An 18-year-old who died in the crash was not wearing a seatbelt. A 72-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man were also killed.
Earlier Thursday, a 24-year-old woman died in a head-on crash in Camden County. According to the highway patrol, she was not wearing a seatbelt.
On July 5, 45-year-old James Smith and 45-year-old Jody Smith were killed in a crash in Cooper County. Their vehicle was struck in the rear by another vehicle, causing their car to spin off the right side of the road and hit a parked car. Both were wearing seatbelts.
