Columbia Regional Airport without water after water line rupture
UPDATE: Columbia Regional Airport updated its Facebook around 7 p.m. Thursday, saying crews successfully fixed the water line.
ORIGINAL: All water to the Columbia Regional Airport is currently off.
The airport posted on their Facebook at roughly 5 a.m. on Thursday that the main water line to the terminal ruptured. The facility has bottled water available, but restrooms are not functioning properly. There are portable restrooms set up outside, near the terminal.
The airport said in a later Facebook post Thursday afternoon that repairs have been going on all day. The organization did not specify when repairs are expected to be finished or when the water would be back on.
ABC 17 News will continue monitoring the situation and update this article when the water is back on.
