Lower humidity and pleasant conditions into the weekend

TODAY: It’s a warm start to the morning across Mid-Missouri, but cooler weather is slowly filtering into the region. As a cold front continues to track through the region today, we’ll see lower humidity and winds shifting out of the northeast up to 15 mph. A spot shower is possible near I-44, but most locations will remain on the dry side with decreasing clouds into the afternoon.

TONIGHT: Clear skies through the night and northeasterly winds up to 10 mph will set the stage for a beautiful evening. Temperatures overnight will drop into the upper 50s and lower 60s, with lower humidity arriving.

EXTENDED: This weekend will be one of the nicest weekends we have seen this so far this summer with abundant sunshine and highs in the mid 80s Saturday and upper 80s Sunday. The humidity will be low with northeast to east winds up to 10 mph.. Nights will be comfortable, dropping to near 60 Saturday night and lower 60s Sunday night. We’ll start heating up again Monday and into the middle of next week as we jump back into the 90s and the humidity climbs. Watch ABC 17 News for the latest forecast and check back here for updates.
