Cooler, less humid air for the weekend

TONIGHT: Scattered showers and t-storms will end by late evening and overnight we’ll stay partly cloudy with lows in teh lower 70s and northerly winds up to 8 mph.

FRIDAY: As high pressure builds in from the north, northeasterly winds will usher in less humid and cooler air, giving us some relief from the heat. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s with less humidity and northeast winds up to 15 mph.

EXTENDED: This weekend will be one of the nicest weekends we have seen this so far this summer with abundant sunshine and highs in the mid 80s Saturday and upper 80s Sunday. The humidity will be low with northeast to east winds up to 10 mph.. Nights will be comfortable, dropping to near 60 Saturday night and lower 60s Sunday night. We’ll start heating up again Monday and into the middle of next week as we jump back into the 90s and the humidity climbs. Watch ABC 17 News for the latest forecast and check back here for updates.
