Morning fog burns off quickly on Monday, Temps stay comfortable
TONIGHT: Any evening showers/storms will dissipate by 7pm and we’ll stay dry overnight. We’re also tracking at the potential for fog to develop overnight as air temperatures dip close to the dew point. The better chance for seeing fog will be across southeastern portions of Mid-Missouri where there was more precipitation this afternoon. Keep that in mind as you head out the door tomorrow morning.
MONDAY: After some patchy morning fog, we’ll see sunshine clear things out. Thankfully the cold front will continue to pay dividends temperatures hover around seasonal averages tomorrow afternoon. If you have the chance, tomorrow looks to be a wonderful day to get outdoors, even get out for lunch. Temps hold in to mid-to-upper 80s Monday, we stay dry.
EXTENDED: The next big feature we watch is a retreating ridge of high pressure which postures itself over the western plains. The puts us on the eastern fringe of the most intense heat this week. Temperatures likely holding in the low to mid 90s throughout the week, with slightly more lower humidities as well. Watch ABC 17 News for the latest forecast and check back here for updates.
