Large police presence in northeast Columbia

UPDATE 11:57 p.m.: Officers have started clearing Olympic Boulevard and opened Hickam Drive to traffic. Deputies and troopers also responded to the scene.

ORIGINAL: Right now there is a large police presence on Hickam Drive and Olympic Boulevard in northeast Columbia after reports of a person with a gun.

ABC 17 News saw officers with guns drawn walking throughout the area.

There were more than a dozen patrol cars and parts of Hickam Drive are currently blocked off.
