UPDATE 2:03 P.M.: Brajean L. Sledge’s hair is currently styled with a blonde weave and was last seen wearing a white v-neck t-shirt.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Kansas City Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for an abduction incident that occurred at 2711 Elmwood, Kansas City at 5:00 PM on Thursday.

Brajean L. Sledge, is a 15-year-old black female, 5 feet .08 inches tall, 125 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark pants.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.

At 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Kansas City, Missouri Police Department officers were called to 2711 Elmwood for a shooting.

When officers got to the scene, it was determined that a shooting took place and Sledge may be in immediate danger as a result of the incident.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
