Judge sentences Hallsville woman for sexual activity with minor

A judge sentenced a Hallsville woman to prison for sexual activity with a teenager.

Online court records show Amanda May Jones was sentenced to four years in the department of corrections and was given credit for time served.

Jones waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to statutory sodomy on Monday, according to records.

Boone County prosecutors charged Jones in July 2017.
