14 pounds of marijuana seized in Cole County narcotic search
Agents of the MUSTANG Drug Task Force and deputies of the Cole County Sheriff’s Office served two narcotic search warrants in the 2300 block of Schott Road on Tuesday.
About 14 pounds of marijuana, nearly $14,000 in cash, four firearms, a ballistic vest and a “substantial amount” of marijuana derivatives were seized, according to a press release.
20-year-old Steven Kusgen and 33-year-old James Knapp were both taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance. The investigation is ongoing.
