Fulton police arrest two after finding drugs in motel

Fulton police said they arrested two people Saturday night after they located one man who had several warrants out for his arrest.

Police said they found Michael Hook Jr., 24, at the Westwood Motel around 8:15 p.m. Saturday. Police said that after they made contact with Hook, they arrested him on several warrants, including probation and parole violation for two charges of burglary.

During Hook’s arrest, officers also saw Rachel McFarland, 33, and drug paraphernalia inside the hotel room, police said. Police obtained a search warrant for the room and found several items of drug paraphernalia.

Police said they arrested McFarland on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, and later released her with a summons.
