Big time heat holds strong for Mid-Missouri
**HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF MID-MISSOURI UNTIL MONDAY AT 8PM**
TONIGHT: Skies will remain mostly clear overnight, but with a steady southerly breezy, we’ll see temperatures hover in the middle 70s– a warm and humid night on tap for all of Mid-Missouri.
SUNDAY: Thanks to a warm start to the morning, it will be easy for us to be in the 90s by lunch-time tomorrow. Make sure any outdoor activities are accompanied by plenty of water and sunscreen. It’s a classic humid mid-summer-like day for Mid-Missouri.
EXTENDED: We begin to watch this stubborn ridge begin to bend and fold as we watch an approaching wave of energy from the west coast this week. It will allow for cooler conditions, but an increase in shower and thunderstorm activity as well. We’ll have to track any potentials for any strong to severe activity through that time period as well. Watch ABC 17 News for the latest forecast and check back here for updates.
