One person hurt, one in custody after crash in Columbia

Columbia police took one person into custody after a crash involving multiple vehicles Thursday night.

It happened at Providence and Stewart before 9:30 p.m. and appeared to involve two vehicles and a motorcycle.

Police said the driver of one of the vehicles was taken into custody for impaired driving. Officers also confirmed one person went to the hospital.

ABC 17 News saw officers searching one of the vehicles at the scene.
