Deputies arrest man after multiple fights on Demaret Drive

Boone County deputies arrested a man after two separate fights late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

Victor Crump, 31, is in the Boone County Jail on suspicion of assault.

Deputies first responded to a home on Demaret Drive just before 11 Tuesday night. A woman reported that Crump got into a fight with her and another woman and hit one of them, according to the sheriff’s department.

Then a few hours later, deputies responded to Demaret Drive again for a fight between Crump and another man.

Crump’s pitbull reportedly attacked the other man and bit him. The man was checked out by an ambulance crew on scene and took himself to the hospital.

Deputies took Crump into Custody on scene for the previous incident involving the women, according to the sheriff’s department.
