Severe threat this afternoon has diminished, Beautiful weather in store Sunday!
THIS EVENING: Thanks to the thunderstorm activity we saw earlier this morning, we are able to diminish the threat for thunderstorms into this afternoon. Most of the instability has been eaten up and residual cloud cover from this morning’s MCS continues to inhibit and more strong thunderstorm development. We’ll begin to see our afternoon clouds slowly clear out as northwest winds take over.
TONIGHT: A gorgeous spring-like night is on tap as temperatures slowly fall back into the upper 50s and low 60s. With low humidity it looks like a great night to keep the windows open and finally give that AC a break!
EXTENDED: Sunday, as has been advertised, will be a gorgeous day to get back outdoors. Forecasted temperatures are expected in the lower 80s with full sunshine and more low humidity. (We could have used this kind of weather last week!) That trend continues for the first half of the week, but we begin to see things warm back up by next weekend. Thursday looks to be our next best chance to see precipitation . Make sure you stick with ABC17 for the latest updates in your forecast!
