Gov. Greitens signs 77 bills into law hours before resignation

On the day the governor is set to step down as the state’s chief executive, Eric Greitens signed 77 bills into law, according to Press Secretary Parker Briden.

“We accomplished a lot this year,” Greitens said in a statement Friday. “The conservative reform agenda is working in Missouri, and I’m proud of what we’ve delivered.”

Greitens is scheduled to resign at 5 p.m. Friday, and Lt. Gov. Mike Parson will be sworn in as the state’s 57th governor shortly after. For more details, click here.
