AG 2017 Vehicle Stops Report: Blacks stopped more in Boone County, Columbia

Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley has officially released the 2017 Vehicle Stops Report.

In Boone County and Columbia, ABC 17 noticed that per the report, the trend of black individuals being stopped is increasing, while many other stops involving black individuals in other parts of mid-Missouri are decreasing. You can see the numbers below:

The report details data from 606 law enforcement agencies. Another 55 agencies reported they made no traffic stops in 2017.

There were a total of 1,541,755 vehicle stops that resulted in 99,441 searches and 73,193 arrests. The details of these numbers can be seen below:
