Wanted fugitive in custody after chase in Cole, Callaway counties
One man, Brandon Labore, 29, was arrested Sunday after a chase that ended with him crashing into a house.
Around 2:31 p.m. Sunday, deputies learned Labore, who had two warrants out for his arrest, was possibly inside a residence in the 1400 block of Summit View Drive.
As deputies approached, Labore fled out of a side door and jumped into a black Toyota and fled the scene. Deputies chased him, but eventually ended the pursuit and notified surrounding agencies.
At approximately 4:07 p.m., deputies were notified that the Jefferson City Police Department were in pursuit of Labore, who had crossed the Missouri River Bridge on eastbound Highway 54 and that the J.C.P.D. had terminated the pursuit.
Deputies located the car, crashed into a house on Summit View Drive. The house owner is a family member of Labore.
Deputies took Labore into custody.
At the time of Labore’s arrest, he had a Callaway County warrant for two counts of domestic assault 2nd with no bond and a Cole County warrant for possession of controlled substance with a court set bond of $9,000.00.
Labore was also arrested for resisting arrest, felony speeding, and other charges.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming.
