Man suffers serious injuries in Miller County crash

A man is in fair condition after a crash in Miller County Tuesday night, according to officials at University Hospital.

It happened near the intersection of Missouri 42 and Blackmore Road around 7:20 p.m.

Emmett Scott, 80, drove off the side of the road and hit a culvert, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. His pickup truck went airborne, overturned and hit a tree.

Scott was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.
