Stormy Weekend Continues

TODAY: We’ll be looking at another tricky forecast for Mid-Missouri. Currently have showers and thunderstorms pushing through the heart of Mid-Missouri. These storms will move off to the east and be out of the viewing area by the afternoon hours. We will have a couple hours to catch our breath before redeveloping thunderstorms tonight. Temperatures will still manage to climb into the low 80s this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Depending on how much energy is used up this morning, we could be looking at another round of potential severe weather as a cold front helps spark more thunderstorms. Showers and thunderstorms will push out of our eastern-most counties after midnight. We bottom out in the low 60s heading into the work week.

EXTENDED: Monday and Tuesday look to stay dry across Mid-Missouri, with Monday only topping out in the low 80s, with more sunshine returning Tuesday. We get back into this active pattern toward the middle of the week as we’ll see chances for showers and thunderstorms through the end of the week, with temperatures hovering in the middle to upper 80s in the afternoons. Stay tuned to ABC 17 for the latest updates to the forecast.
