On May 3, the Missouri Legislature made history as leaders called for a special session to consider whether or not to impeach embattle Gov. Eric Greitens.

This came after claims of blackmail and illegal use of a donor list from the governor’s charity, The Mission Continues.

While the invasion of privacy case involving the blackmail claims was dropped on May 14, lawmakers have said it will not affect the special investigative committee looking into the governor’s alleged actions.

On the eve of the special session, ABC 17 News anchors Ashley Strohmier and Joey Parker team up with Missourinet’s Brian Hauswirth to look at the possible outcomes, where lawmakers and the governor go from here and what could lie ahead for the state of Missouri.
