Fulton man dies in early-morning crash, troopers say

Missouri State Highway Patrol traffic records said a Fulton man died after he crashed early Saturday morning.

Troopers said Alexander McDonald, 21, was heading south on Route C, about a mile north of County Road 400, around 4 a.m. when he went off the right side of the road.

McDonald overcorrected, got back onto the road and overturned off the left side of the road, troopers said. Troopers said McDonald was thrown from the vehicle.

Online traffic records showed McDonald was not wearing a seat belt. The Boone County Medical Examiner pronounced McDonald dead at the scene.

Troopers said the crash was the third fatal crash in Troop F in May and the 20th this year.
