Warrant issued in Greeley Drive homicide, suspect considered armed and dangerous

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Charles Tyrone Webb, 43, in connection to the homicide on Greeley Drive on May 3.

Robert Eugene Jennings, 43, of Columbia, was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead by medical personnel shortly after being taken to a local hospital.

“Due to the assistance and cooperation of members of the community, the Columbia Police Department was able to obtain a warrant for the following charges: Murder in the Second Degree and Armed Criminal Action with a cash-only bond of $1,000,000,” says the official press release by the Columbia Police Department. “Webb should be considered armed and dangerous.”
