Fulton man arrested after allegedly threatening woman with croquet mallet

Fulton Police officers took a man into custody Friday night after allegedly chasing a woman down the street with a croquet mallet.

Officers said Courtney Braggs, 35, of Fulton, was threatening a woman on 7th Street after he had broken windows at a home nearby.

Police said Braggs had broken a protection order during the incident.

He was later arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon, property damage, property damage and violation of a protection order.

According to online jail records, Braggs has already bonded out of jail.
