Car crashes into building in north Columbia, driver detained

One person was detained after crashing into a business in the 600 block of Big Bear Boulevard Saturday night.

The Columbia Fire Department was called to the scene just before 11 p.m.

ABC 17 News crews saw a red car crashed into the side of a building and officers searching inside the car. A sergeant with the Columbia Police Department said the driver was detained on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
