Mentally disabled woman found after walking away from facility
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department confirms a mentally disabled woman who walked away from a residential facility early Friday morning in the 600 block of Country Squire Court has been found safe.
Brenda Collins-Self was last seen wearing a bright green shirt and black yoga pants and is from the Kansas City, Mo., area.
She was taken to a local hospital to get examined afterwards.
