Beautiful Weekend Leads Into Active Week
TODAY: You’re going to want a light jacket if you are planning to head outdoors this morning. We’ll crack the 60 degree mark around the midday hour as we warm to near 70 this afternoon. Along with plenty of sunshine this afternoon, we will be accompanied by southeasterly winds at about 10-12 mph.
TONIGHT: Clouds will begin increase this evening as we head into our Monday. Temperatures will only bottom out near 50 tonight as winds out of the southeast will keep us from cooling off like we did this morning.
EXTENDED: Monday looks to be another spectacular day in Mid-Missouri. We’ll see partly cloudy skies and temperatures warming toward the 80 degree mark in the afternoon. A slow moving system will begin to affect the area beginning Tuesday afternoon, as we have a chance for some isolated storms. We’ll have on and off chances for showers and storms continuing through Friday morning, with temperatures holding in the upper 70s. As it stands right now, our best chance of severe weather in Mid-Missouri looks to be Wednesday, with the best chance of wide-spread rain on Thursday.
