Another gorgeous day Sunday, much needed rain by mid-week.

TONIGHT: We’ll cool off a little more than we usually do this time of year thanks in large part to our dry atmosphere and lack of cloud cover overnight. Lows tonight will drop to near 39 with the winds shifting to a more southeasterly direction by morning.

SUNDAY: With a cool start to the morning, you may want a light jacket handy. Once the sun starts to rise, we’ll warm up quickly, as we’ll be in the mid 40s by 8am. The rest of the day looks perfect as we see full sunshine through 5pm and temperatures reaching 70 degrees. Tomorrow looks to be a great day to get some outdoor lunch or maybe fire up the grill.

EXTENDED: Clouds will build into the area slowly Sunday evening in to Monday morning. We’ll also watch a warm front pass through Monday morning which will help temperatures warm to 80 degrees by the afternoon hours. We’ll see a mix of clouds and sun as our next storm system approaches. A slow moving cold front will begin to spark off rain showers and storms by Tuesday afternoon and on an off rain chances existing through Friday afternoon. Up to 1-2 inches of rain is possible this week. Stay tuned to ABC 17 for the latest forecast and updates.
