Sunny skies through the weekend
FRIDAY: The work week will end with beautiful weather. After a cool start and with abundant sunshine, Friday’s highs will reach the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. It will be a bit breezy with northwest winds increasing up to 15 mph in the afternoon as another front approaches the area.
TONIGHT: Skies will remain clear with winds directed out of the north/northwest from 5-9 mph with another passing cold front. Lows will drop back below average making for a cool night as temperatures bottom out in the low 40s by morning.
EXTENDED: Saturday will start off cool with morning temperatures in the 40s but sunny skies will bring temperatures up into the low to mid 60s as a cool northerly breeze increases up to 10 mph. However, the high April sunshine will make it feel warmer than the actual temperature reflects. Sunday will be a bit warmer, reaching into the low 70s with clouds moving in toward evening. We’ll start next week warm, reaching close to 80 Monday and Tuesday. Isolated storms are possible Tuesday but a better chance of storms moves in Tuesday night. An active weather pattern continues through next Thursday with periods of showers and t-storms. Stay tuned to ABC 17 for the latest forecast and updates.
