Section of 6th Street closed for police investigation
UPDATE 4:45 pm: 6th Street has reopened.
UPDATE 3:30 pm: Police said the section of 6th Street will be closed through 5 p.m.
Officers also confirmed they are investigating the death of a 91-year-old man. Police believe it was a suicide.
ORIGINAL STORY: A section of 6th Street was closed in Columbia on Tuesday afternoon for a police investigation.
ABC 17 crews are on scene and saw the road closed from Walnut to Broadway. Crews are also reporting there is a body by the 6th and Walnut parking garage.
ABC 17 has reached out to police for more information on the incident.
