Man charged with fraudulently using a credit card to purchase jewelry
A man has been charged with stealing and fraudulent use of a credit card after he was accused of using a Zales credit card to purchase jewelry.
Police began to investigate the incident after a woman noticed that her ex-boyfriend had made unauthorized purchases using her credit card.
Through the investigation, officers discovered that Johnnie Walker had purchased a 14-karat gold necklace for $957.60. He used the account and told a sales associate that his girlfriend pays the bills.
According to the probable cause statement, Walker also left a watch for repair but the purchase was denied.
