Web Extra: Mizzou football competes in annual ‘paint drying’ spring game

Going into the annual spring game, Barry Odom said he hoped it was like watching paint dry, in a good way. Odom hoped for no injuries and nothing else to go wrong.

By that standard, the game was a success with no major injuries.

The offense put up 24 points as Drew Lock finished 7-13 with 53 yards and one touchdown.

Johnathon Johnson, Harry Ballard and Dominic Gicinto each caught touchdown passes.

It was a tough debut for JUCO QB Lindsey Scott Jr. who threw two interceptions while completing just 1-7 passes.

DeMarkus Acy came up with a big interception in the second half. Acy joined Terry Beckner Jr., Cale Garrett and Terez Hall in a strong performance by the defense.
