Mid-Missouri Business Week: Entrepreneurship

A bill that would encourage entrepreneurship in the state is pending in Missouri’s Senate Economic Development Committee.

Bill 1037 would create the Missouri Innovation Fund to provide money to entrepreneurs and start-ups in the state in order to encourage economic growth.

As the City of Columbia continues to grow, the need for entrepreneurship continues to increase. Collin Bunch, the entrepreneurship coordinator for Regional Economic Development Inc. (REDI), sat down with ABC 17’s Deborah Kendrick to talk about how his organization is working to encourage entrepreneurship in mid-Missouri.
