Cooler air moves in this weekend

TONIGHT: Rain moves out by 2 AM near I-44 and it will be cool and breezy overnight with lows dropping to the mid to upper 50s by morning.

SATURDAY: Saturday morning there is a slight shower chance but most areas will stay dry. Skies will remain partly sunny with temperatures reaching the upper 50s to near 60 with southwesterly winds at 15 mph, gusting to 25 mph at times.

EXTENDED: Colder air moves in Saturday night and we’ll drop into the low to mid 30s by Sunday morning as light rain and snow develops. A brief period of light snow is possible early Sunday morning, mainly north of I-70, changing back to rain before ending by early afternoon. It will be chilly Sunday with high temperatures only reaching near 40 and another freeze Sunday night as we dip to near 30. Warmer weather moves back in early next week with highs in the upper 60s by Tuesday. However, another cold front move through Tuesday night, cooling us back to near 60 by Wednesday with temperatures staying slightly cooler than average to end the week.
