CPD arrests man after break-in, property damage
Columbia police responded to the townhomes in the 3500 block of Scott Boulevard just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday for a report of a suspicious person.
According to officers on scene, the man broke into a residence and caused damage to the property.
Officers told ABC 17 News the suspect “was clearly under the influence of something.”
ABC 17 News crews saw the suspect being taken away in an ambulance, thrashing and being non-cooperative with officers.
Police said the suspect will likely face criminal charges.
