Columbia police arrest woman accused of trying to hit man with her car

Columbia police arrested Christina Carter on Monday night after officers were made aware of a possible road rage incident.

The male victim told police that Carter attempted to hit him with her car. He allegedly had to jump on the hood of his car to avoid being hit.

Officers said they saw footprints on the hood of the man’s car that appeared to be consistent with his shoes.

Carter faces possible charges of armed criminal action and domestic assault.
