Another Cold Weekend For Mid-Missouri

TODAY: We’re off to a cold beginning to the weekend across Mid-Missouri. Brisk north winds will be blowing through this afternoon around 10 mph which will keep us in the low 40s for highs, and feeling a little cooler than that. You will want to grab those sunglasses as you grab the coat this morning with sunny skies returning to the area.

TONIGHT: We won’t have quite a cold night in store for us as a high pressure system settles our winds down a bit. It is still going to be much colder than usual with lows dropping to the middle to upper 20s.

EXTENDED: We’ll have another system moving through the area this weekend on Sunday. Clouds will be on the increase ahead of this system in the early morning hours. Our best chance of seeing a mix of mostly snow and rain will be in the later morning through afternoon hours. Temperatures will only top out in the low 40s in the afternoon as well. Monday we recover a bit into the upper 40s to low 50s but have another chance for some showers Monday night. Drier weather moves in on Tuesday as more Spring-like weather heads toward Mid-Missouri. We’ll warm up to the middle 60s on Wednesday and near 70 Thursday before another storm system approaches the area toward the end of the week. Stay tuned to ABC 17 for the latest forecast and updates.
