Woman charged with using a fake identity to get Hydrocodone

A woman has been charged with forgery and stealing after she was accused of using a fake identity to obtain pills.

A witness told troopers they suspected Kellie Quillen visited Region Medical Center and a local Walgreens with a fake identity to get prescription pills.

Investigators contacted the Walgreen’s pharmacy who confirmed there was no prescription filled for Quillen at the specified time and date but there was a Hydrocodone prescription filled for a Kelly King around that time.

Region Medical Center employees revealed that a female reporting to be King arrived at the emergency room on April 1. Security video footage found that a car matching Quillen’s vehicle description arrived in the hospital parking lot. Quillen was seen exiting the vehicle, walking into the emergency room and approaching the reception desk.

Quillen was accused of signing documents as King, not paying for the hospital services and giving an address that was not valid.

According to public jail records, Quillen is currently in the Cole County Jail.
