Another shot of cold headed into our Wednesday

THIS AFTERNOON: It will be very windy headed into the afternoon after the passage of our cold front. We could see some light showers, but we should remain mostly dry. Temperatures will drop through the afternoon into the mid-30s. You will need the heavy coat if you have any plans this evening.

TONIGHT: We are going to see a dry and clear night ahead as clouds decrease through the early evening. With winds out of the northwest from 14-21 mph we will see temperatures drop quickly through the night. Overnight lows will reach into the mid 20s with wind chills in the teens.

EXTENDED: Wednesday morning looks cold behind the front as temperatures begin in the low to mid 20s and we struggle to reach the lower 40s, but we will see sunshine. The active and cold weather pattern sticks around, and clouds will increase Thursday ahead of the next upper level wave which will bring a chance of rain Thursday night into Friday, possibly mixing with snow Friday night before ending. Another chance of rain moves in Sunday as temperatures stay cool, only reaching the low 50s. Stay tuned to ABC 17 for the latest forecast and updates.
