Flood watches have been posted ahead of heavy rainfall
**FLOOD WATCH** MONDAY 7PM – TUESDAY 7PM
COUNTIES: CAMDEN, MILLER, COLE, OSAGE, MARIES, PULASKI, PHELPS, GASCONADE
THREATS INCLUDE: FLOODING ALONG STREAMS, CREEKS & LOW-LYING AREAS. FLOODED ROADWAYS SHOULD BE AVOIDED. TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN.
TONIGHT: Clouds will be back on the increase overnight tonight ahead of our next approaching weather system. We’ll see temperatures drop into the low 40s and upper 30s this evening.
TOMORROW: Get the umbrella and rain coats ready because it will be a soggy start to your Monday as we will see rain begin to sneak into mid-Missouri as early as 6am. That rain will continue into the early afternoon, before we see a brief lull. Temperatures will hover in the mid to upper 50s.
EXTENDED: We will try to dry out Wednesday as highs recover behind a cold front to the middle 50s, however, a more impressive shot of cold looks to be on the horizon into next weekend, where we will likely see well below average temperatures.
