Struggle ensues as Callaway County deputies try to arrest two wanted fugitives

Callaway County deputies arrested two wanted fugitives on Wednesday after officers were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of East Second Street for reports of a wanted fugitive residing in the area.

When deputies arrived at a residnece, they encountered Bradley Foutes, 29. Officers said when they tried to take Foutes into custody, a physical struggle ensued but deputies were eventually able to arrest him.

Deputies also found Brandon Bryd and were able to arrest him without incident.

Foutes was wanted out of Franklin County for assault. He faces possible charges of resisting arrest and hindering prosecution.

Byrd was wanted in Callaway County for burglary, assault, property damage and violation of a protection order.

Both suspects were taken to the Callaway County Jail.
