Boonville police arrest man after officers find 22 pounds of marijuana

UPDATE 3/22: Dow has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

According to the probable cause statement, Dow has a criminal history of distribution, delivery, and manufacturing a controlled substance.

ORIGINAL STORY: Boonville police arrested Kelvon Dow, 38, on Tuesday after officers investigated a suspicious package that was being shipped to a Boonville address.

Police said they found about 22 pounds of high grade marijuana and an undisclosed amount of money during the investigation.

Dow faces possible charges of delivery of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance in a protected area and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He is currently in the Cooper County Jail.
