Boone County attorney launches campaign for associate judge

Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Stephanie Morrell will officially launch her campaign for associate judge for the 11th division.

She will face Kevin O’Brien in the August 2018 Democratic Primary, and the winner of that race will challenge Republican candidate and Greitens appointee Judge Joshua Devine.

“Throughout my career, I have been committed to equal justice,” Morrell said. “It is important to me that every person in Boone County gets their day in court in a timely manner and feels treated equally and fairly.”

Morrell is hosting her initial campaign event on March 25 at Shakepeare’s Pizza West at 1 p.m.
