Jefferson City police arrest woman after officers locate stolen vehicle, methamphetamine

Jefferson City police arrested Holly Rowden on Monday after officers spotted a stolen vehicle in the 1700 block of Missouri Boulevard.

Police said when they made contact with Rowden, she was initially arrested for the stolen vehicle.

According to the probable cause statement, a passenger in the vehicle told officers that Rowden knew the vehicle was stolen and she had just discarded a methamphetamine pipe and narcotics from the car.

Police searched the car and found a methamphetamine pipe and methamphetamine.

Rowden was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
