Couple sentenced in statutory sodomy case
Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley announced on Wednesday that an Ozark County couple were sentenced.
David Bauer was sentenced to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after being convicted of first degree statutory sodomy. His wife, Tiffany Bauer, was sentenced to ten years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for her involvement in the same incident.
Hawley said the victim was nine-years-old.
“Those who abuse Missouri’s most vulnerable citizens will be prosecuted,” Hawley said. “There is no place for abuse of this nature in our State and my Office will continue fighting for victims of sexual abuse.”
According to public jail records, the couple is currently in the Ozark County Jail.
