Two taken into custody after stolen car found in Fulton

Fulton Police Officers received information Monday on a stolen vehicle from Pulaski County possibly being in Fulton, according to an official release.

Fulton police officers found the vehicle and conducted a felony traffic stop at S. Bus 54 and Westminster Ave.

Two people were removed from the vehicle. and taken into custody.

Samuel Weyland, 20, of New Bloomfield, was arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree and has a bond of $4,500.

Chance Marcum, 18, of Mokane, was arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle in the second degree and was released on a citation.

The investigation is ongoing.
