Columbia man faces stealing charges after he was accused of taking a debit card

A Columbia man is facing possible charges of stealing after officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Haden Drive on March 2.

Police said a female victim had her debit card stolen when Jamal Jackson was the only one at her residence.

Jackson was also accused of texting the victim to look outside her door. The victim said she opened the door and her credit card was there.

Jackson was already in the Boone County Jail facing other charges.
