Showers and t-storms late tonight into Friday
TONIGHT: Rain showers with possible isolated thunderstorms will track into Mid-Missouri from the west tonight into Friday. Showers will move in from the west after 3 AM and will increase through daybreak with isolated t-storms.Low temperatures will drop into the 40s as easterly winds increase to 15 mph by morning.
FRIDAY: The morning commute will likely be wet as scattered showers continue. These will taper off after lunch and we’ll have a chance of spotty showers and t-storms in the afternoon through early evening. There is a marginal severe threat for isolated storms with damaging wind to 60 mph or quarter size hail south of I-70. High temperatures will range from the low 40s north of I-70 to near 60 at the Lake of the Ozarks and winds will come in from the east-southeast, gusting to 30 mph at times.
EXTENDED: A stray shower is possible early Saturday morning north of I-70 but most areas will have a dry but cool start to the weekend with partly cloudy skies. High temperatures will reach the mid 50s Saturday and near 60 Sunday. Another storm system will arrive late Sunday into Monday with increasing showers and t-storms Sunday night through Monday followed by cooler weather.
