Columbia police arrest man accused of assaulting woman in parking lot

Columbia police arrested Teddy Penn on Tuesday morning after officers were dispatched to the ENT and Allergy Center of Missouri on Keene Street for reports of a physical disturbance.

Police said Penn and a female victim were arguing in the parking lot. Witnesses reported seeing Penn come from behind the victim, grab her, push her, pull her hair and punch the victim in the back and shoulders.

Officers said Penn was also accused of talking about pulling a knife on the victim.

Penn faces possible charges of domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
