Snowy weather causing multiple vehicles to crash, emergency responders say

First responders in Boone County have responded to several crashes Sunday morning because of snow, according to a tweet from the Boone County Fire Protection District.

Boone County, and areas east and north of the county, experienced most of the wet snow, ABC 17’s stormtrack meteorologist Kevin Schneider said.

According to dispatch records, Highway 63 has been the slickest main road Sunday morning, but some crashes have occurred on I-70 and other roads.

First responders urged drivers to drive slow.
