Unsettled on Sunday, clearing & warming this week.

TONIGHT: It will be cold tonight with temperatures once again dipping into the middle 30s. We’re tracking an area of scattered showers that will move their way through the area beginning around 7pm this evening. If you have any Saturday night plans, it would be wise to carry an umbrella with you, even with the scattered variety of this rain. We should clear our by midnight before the next round of rain rolls through early Sunday morning.

SUNDAY: ***DAYLIGHT SAVINGS, SET YOUR CLOCKS*** Sunday could be messy as we see rain return in the morning. We also have cold air diving in, which could lead to a changeover to snow which could be heavy at times. Ground temperatures are well above freezing, so we shouldn’t have any issues with roadways. Most snow that sticks will be upon grassy and elevated surfaces. Rain and snow should wind down by the early evening.

EXTENDED : This week, we finally begin to transition into a more lasting spring-like pattern. We start out cool to begin the week, in the 40s, but then we’ll see mostly sunny skies, and temperatures steadily rising to the middle 60s by Thursday. We have a slight chance of showers Thursday evening, but we look to stay mainly dry through next weekend.
